Texas A&M edge rusher Anto Saka has been recognized on The Athletic's 2026 "Freaks List," an annual compilation of the most exceptional athletes in college football, as announced by the school. The list is curated by Bruce Feldman, who described Saka as the standout among a talented defensive line group.
Saka, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 255 pounds, is a graduate student from Baltimore who transferred to Texas A&M from Northwestern. He is not alone in this defensive line room, as Sam M'Pemba, a redshirt junior from Georgia, also joins the roster at 6-3 and 257 pounds.
Feldman's list highlights remarkable athletic testing statistics reported by strength coaches, focusing on raw physical capabilities rather than player performance. Texas A&M has not disclosed Saka's specific rank on the list.
The announcement comes as the Aggies are in the midst of Fall Camp, with their season opener scheduled for Sept. 5 at Kyle Field.
