Dallas Takes Control

FC Dallas scored twice before halftime but could not protect its lead Saturday, falling 3-2 to Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The visiting team opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, when Logan Farrington put FC Dallas ahead.

Petar Musa added FC Dallas’ second goal in the 64th minute, giving the visitors a 2-0 advantage. The match featured exactly five goals, with all three of Charlotte FC’s goals coming after the break.

Charlotte’s Response

Idan Toklomati pulled Charlotte FC within one in the 70th minute. Harry Toffolo then scored in the 74th minute to level the match at 2-2.

Charlotte FC completed the turnaround in the second minute of stoppage time. Toklomati scored again at 90'+2', giving the home team a 3-2 final score and his second goal of the match.
