The Texans’ final offensive possessions were unable to generate enough yardage to tie or win the game, leaving them with a heartbreaking loss despite their late surge.

Key Performances Define Contest

Statistically, the game was determined by efficiency and special teams play. Daniel Jones completed 24 of 36 passes for 235 yards and one touchdown, though he also threw one interception. Jonathan Taylor provided ground support with 68 rushing yards on 23 carries. Josh Downs was a reliable target, hauling in five receptions for 77 yards.

For Houston, C.J. Stroud threw for 167 yards on 16-of-27 passing with one touchdown and one interception. David Montgomery contributed 33 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Xavier Hutchinson led the receiving corps with three catches for 51 yards.
