Aubrey Lifts Boil-Water Advisory After Safety Confirmed

City officials confirmed the water supply is safe for consumption, ending the mandatory boiling requirement for residents.

Aubrey residents are no longer required to boil their tap water, as the city lifted the advisory at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. Austin Gress, the city’s emergency management coordinator, confirmed the water is now safe for use.

The notice had been in place due to concerns regarding the local water supply. With the current status cleared, normal water usage can resume without restriction.
