Aubrey's postponed Peanut Festival parade now has a replacement date: Saturday, Oct. 31, at 4:30 p.m. on Main Street. The city lists the parade as the opening activity before its Haunted Harvest Halloween event in Historic Downtown.

The parade starts an hour before trunk-or-treat, which begins at 5:30 p.m. in the new parking lot behind Veterans Memorial Park. Families planning to watch the procession should use the earlier start time.

The city's current schedule places an outdoor Halloween movie in Veterans Memorial Park at 6:30 p.m. Its linked Eventeny listing identifies the film as It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and lists the overall event through 9:30 p.m.

The city-hosted listing identifies Veterans Memorial Park as 301 S. Main St. and lists parking at 201 and 202 E. Elm St. The city's event page has the current program and links for people who want to register a decorated trunk.
