North Texas high school football player hospitalized after practice injury

A Crandall High School football player was airlifted to a hospital following an injury.

A football player at Crandall High School was transported by air to a medical facility after suffering an injury during practice on Wednesday, according to Crandall Independent School District (ISD). A medical helicopter was sent to land near the baseball fields at the school to assist in the transport of the student-athlete for additional medical care.

Crandall ISD conveyed its concern, expressing that the community should respect the privacy of the student and their family during this difficult time.
