Trevon Diggs, a former All-Pro cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This signing follows the Seahawks' recent acquisition of Terrion Arnold, who is currently facing serious legal challenges in Florida.

At the age of 27, Diggs has made a name for himself in the NFL, recording 20 interceptions and defending 63 passes throughout his career. He is anticipated to compete for a role in the Seahawks' secondary, which is currently impacted by injuries.

Previously, Diggs had signed a five-year contract extension worth $97 million with the Cowboys in July 2023. However, he was only able to participate in 22 out of 51 possible regular-season games in the following three seasons.

His tenure with Dallas ended after a series of incidents, including a peculiar home accident where he reported that a television fell on him, resulting in a prolonged absence in 2025.

The Cowboys eventually waived Diggs after he expressed a desire to stay in the Washington, D.C. area with his family following a Christmas Day game, a request that was not accommodated by the team. He was subsequently picked up off waivers by the Green Bay Packers shortly after his release from Dallas.

Details regarding Diggs' specific role with the Seahawks and the team's plans for him remain undisclosed.
