The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, marking the end of practices that began on July 29. Fans were present for the last session, which followed a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is preparing to face the New Orleans Saints in their final preseason game before they finalize their 53-man roster for the regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was a standout during the concluding practice, demonstrating his skills after limited participation earlier due to starters being sidelined. He connected with quarterback Dak Prescott several times, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. Lamb also made an impressive one-handed catch for a touchdown during red zone drills.
Cornerback Cobie Durant faced difficulties during the practice, allowing two touchdowns, one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Nevertheless, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback next to DaRon Bland during training camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also made a notable impact, starting on defense and showing aggressiveness.
He pressured Prescott during a blitz that would have resulted in a sack in a game scenario. Barham's performance has shown steady progress since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys gear up for their final preseason matchup, the team remains optimistic about their offensive strength and overall performance heading into the regular season.
