Texas A&M’s offense fades as Missouri pulls away for 27-6 win

Texas A&M led after the opening quarter but was held without a touchdown in a 27-6 loss at Missouri. Jamal Roberts ran for 222 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers.

Aggies struggle to sustain offense

Texas A&M Aggies managed only two field goals and fell 27-6 to the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. The Aggies led 3-0 after the first quarter, but Missouri scored in each of the final three periods and pulled away behind Jamal Roberts’ 222 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Texas A&M’s David Olano opened the scoring with a 53-yard field goal in the first period. The Aggies added a 27-yard field goal from Olano in the fourth period, but those were their only points.

Missouri takes control

Missouri answered in the second quarter when Cayden Lee caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Austin Simmons, with Blake Craig adding the kick for a 7-3 Tigers lead. Craig then made a 50-yard field goal, sending Missouri into halftime ahead 10-3.

Craig connected from 51 yards in the third quarter to make it 13-3. Roberts extended the advantage with a 2-yard touchdown run, followed by another Craig kick, and Missouri led 20-3 after three quarters.

Olano’s fourth-quarter field goal moved Texas A&M to 6 points. Roberts then broke free for a 54-yard touchdown run, and Craig’s kick completed the scoring at 27-6.

Statistical leaders

Roberts carried 34 times for 222 yards and two touchdowns for Missouri. Lee finished with seven receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown. Simmons completed 14 of 28 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

For Texas A&M, Marcel Reed completed 19 of 39 passes for 187 yards and threw two interceptions. KJ Edwards rushed six times for 20 yards, while TK Norman had three receptions for 55 yards.

Records

Missouri improved to 5-1 after the victory. Texas A&M fell to 3-3. Attendance at Memorial Stadium was 63,609.
