An AutoZone store built from the ground up on U.S. 377 is one of four business projects with Aubrey addresses that have landed in state construction records since late August, along with a Jimmy John's, an Orangetheory Fitness studio and a meat market.
All four appear in the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's architectural barriers registry, where building projects are filed for accessibility review. None of the filings sets an opening date, and the start and finish dates in them are the builders' estimates.
AutoZone on U.S. 377
AutoZone Parts Inc. registered plans Aug. 26 for a new 7,200-square-foot auto parts store at 930 S. U.S. 377. The filing puts the cost at $973,773 and describes construction of the store "from the ground up." It lists an estimated start of June 23, 2027, and completion by Nov. 26, 2027, and the record still showed the status "Project Registered" on Sunday.
The filing identifies it as store No. 11179.
Jimmy John's on Pine Ridge Street
A Jimmy John's sandwich shop is planned for Suite 600 at 500 Pine Ridge St., where the filing describes an interior finish-out of 1,305 square feet in an existing strip center. The estimated cost is $375,000, with work expected to run from Jan. 4 to April 1, 2027. The state's review of the plans is listed as complete.
Orangetheory near U.S. 380
Orangetheory Fitness registered a $350,000 interior build-out of 1,951 square feet at 26813 E. University Drive on Sept. 30. The project name calls it "Studio 1680 - Little Elm," but the address in the filing is in Aubrey. The filing estimates work from Oct. 5 to Dec. 28, 2026, and says no floor area will be added to the existing building.
