The Dallas Cowboys rallied in the fourth quarter Sunday, taking a 28-24 lead before the Baltimore Ravens answered with a late touchdown and won 34-31 on a field goal as time expired in Rio de Janeiro.
KaVontae Turpin’s 9-yard touchdown run moved Dallas ahead after Dak Prescott threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Jake Ferguson and connected with CeeDee Lamb on a two-point conversion. Baltimore then went in front 31-28 when Lamar Jackson threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Matt Hibner with 1:30 remaining.
Prescott moved the Cowboys into position for Brandon Aubrey, who tied the game with a 23-yard field goal with seven seconds left. After Jackson completed a 27-yard pass to Zay Flowers, Tyler Loop made a 56-yard field goal as time expired.
Aubrey also made a 28-yard field goal. Javonte Williams scored on a 2-yard run and finished with 98 rushing yards on 19 carries. Prescott completed 25 of 40 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown, while Lamb had seven catches for 112 yards.
Jackson passed for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and Derrick Henry ran for 89 yards. The announced crowd of 72,792 watched the NFL’s first game in Rio and third in Brazil. Dallas is 1-2, and Baltimore is 2-1.
