A $4.8 million multi-tenant retail building is planned at 816 Main St. in Providence Village, the town just south of Aubrey, according to a project registered with the state on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The filing, made through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's accessibility review system, lists the project as Azure Providence Village. It describes new construction of a 31,670-square-foot building with work scheduled to begin Dec. 1 and finish Nov. 19, 2027. The project is privately funded, and no tenants are named; the tenant field reads "Not Assigned."

The owner listed on the record has a Prosper address, and the design firm is Studio 610 of Plano. The filing does not say what kinds of businesses the building is meant to hold or how many storefronts it will have.

Two other filings nearby

The same week brought two smaller registrations in the area:

  • Pilot Point Family Eye Care, a new 3,236-square-foot eye care building at 322 Washington St. in Pilot Point, estimated at $650,000. The record lists MLS Land and Holdings LLC of Collinsville as owner and a Dec. 1 start, with completion planned for June 1, 2027.
  • Discount Tire at 3001 U.S. 380 in Cross Roads, a $189,500 remodel of the existing store. The scope covers about 1,766 square feet, including a new sales and office layout, new finishes and fixtures, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. Work is set for Dec. 4 through Feb. 12, and the record says the tenant is paying for it.

Each record names a registered accessibility specialist who will review the plans and inspect the work. All three are listed as registered, the first step in that review.
