Houston jumped ahead in the first inning when Jeremy Peña launched a 440-foot home run to left center. The Royals answered with their own power display in the third, as Peña connected again, this time driving a ball 370 feet to left field for his second homer of the night.

However, the Astros immediately responded with a two-run blast. Yordan Alvarez homered to right field, measuring 376 feet, while also driving in Peña. This sequence extended Houston’s lead to 4-1.
Kansas City managed to cut the deficit in the sixth inning when Pasquantino hit a 376-foot home run to right center. The shot made the final score 4-2, but it was not enough to complete the comeback.
