Centurion American, a developer based in Farmers Branch, has announced plans to build a residential community called Covey Creek on 168 acres of land located at the intersection of FM 428 and Coffey Road. The site is situated in the southeast quadrant of this intersection, east of Aubrey, and falls largely within the city’s statutory extraterritorial jurisdiction.
The project is designed to include 828 single-family homes. Construction of these residences will be handled by D.R. Horton and First Texas Homes. In addition to the housing units, the development plans include a dog park, a dedicated open space park, and an amenity center for residents.
Mehrdad Moayedi, president and CEO of Centurion American, stated in a press release that the company is committed to creating a community that local residents will be proud of. He noted that the firm has invested in Denton County for many years and expressed enthusiasm for continuing that investment while working closely with the City of Aubrey.
Pricing for the homes has not yet been released by the developer. According to the announcement, lot delivery to builders is expected to occur in the spring or summer of 2028.
