Rooted Home has opened its doors in downtown Prosper, providing customers with a selection of gifts and home decor items. The boutique is located at 112 W. Broadway St. and began operations on June 25, according to owner Megan Fish.

The shop features merchandise sourced from local artisans, including handcrafted crochet bags, pottery pieces, and candles. Fish described the inventory as offering a variety of options for different tastes.

Fish established the physical store after Painted Tree Boutiques, where she previously operated a booth, ceased all its locations in April. The closure of that business prompted her decision to launch her own brick-and-mortar venture.

While the physical store is now open, Fish is in the process of updating the business’s online presence. She noted that the company is currently transitioning to a new website. In the interim, interested customers can find operating hours and updates through the business’s Instagram account.

Prosper is situated approximately 12 miles southeast of Aubrey.
