The Texans had six players unavailable at Wednesday’s practice, including five who were sidelined by injuries. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was held out with a knee injury, while offensive tackle Trent Brown was listed with knee and wrist issues. Wide receiver Nico Collins did not participate because of a hamstring injury.

Linebacker Jake Hummel and offensive guard Ed Ingram were absent with groin injuries. Tight end Dalton Schultz was kept out for rest. Collins sustained his hamstring injury during practice last week and missed the Texans’ Week 2 loss to the Bengals. No additional information was provided about the other injuries.

Three defensive players participated on a limited basis. Logan Hall and M.J. Stewart were listed with knee injuries, while Will Anderson Jr. was given a rest day. Safety Reed Blankenship and linebacker Wade Woodaz, who have thumb injuries, completed the full practice.
