Oziyah Sellers is now part of SMU’s men’s basketball program after enrolling at the Dallas school, which announced his addition. The fifth-year guard is practicing with the Mustangs, but the school has not given a timetable for a decision on whether he can compete.
Sellers started all 36 of his games for St. John’s in 2025-26. He scored 10.3 points per game, collected 2.7 rebounds and distributed 1.6 assists as the Red Storm went 30-7 and captured the Big East title.
His previous stop was Stanford, where he opened every game in the 2024-25 season and averaged 13.7 points in the ACC. Sellers also spent two seasons at USC under SMU coach Andy Enfield. Across his career, he has connected on 37.8% of his three-point tries, including 42.9% as a USC sophomore, and has made 86.9% of his free throws.
The move comes ahead of SMU’s third season under Enfield and the 2026-27 campaign, with the school’s transfer group ranked No. 21 nationally by On3.
