The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are still set to meet in Rio de Janeiro next Sunday, eight days after the field at Maracanã Stadium drew criticism. The game is scheduled to remain inside the stadium, and the teams’ designations have not changed: Dallas is the home team, while Baltimore is the road team.
Agustín Rossi, Flamengo’s goalkeeper, recently described the playing surface as uneven, saying it contains bumps. He also said he hopes the field is improved before the football matchup. Whether conditions will be better by kickoff has not been determined.
