The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year extension with wide receiver Ryan Flournoy, with the reported $6 million contract expected to be signed this week. The agreement would keep him under contract for the 2027 season and comes before Dallas opens its regular season against the New York Giants.
Dallas selected Flournoy in the sixth round of the 2024 draft. The team waived him during its first roster reductions in 2025, but he cleared waivers and later rejoined the organization on its practice squad. That move replaced his original four-year rookie contract, leaving three years on his new agreement and a possible restricted-free-agent season afterward.
The extension removes that potential free-agency period and gives Dallas an additional year of contractual control. Flournoy is coming off a 2025 season the team called a breakout, and the deal provides more time for his development during the 2026 and 2027 seasons. A longer-term contract remains possible later. Dallas also recently reached a three-year extension agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
