TCU expects wide receiver Jordan Dwyer to be available when it opens Big 12 play against UCF on Sept. 26. Dwyer has missed the Horned Frogs’ first three games because of a foot injury.
After TCU’s 31-7 victory over Arkansas State, coach Sonny Dykes said the team anticipates Dwyer playing next week and that having him back would strengthen the roster. Dwyer’s availability remains unconfirmed beyond the coach’s update.
Dwyer transferred to TCU from Idaho and was among the Horned Frogs’ leading offensive contributors in 2025. He started every regular-season game, recording 54 receptions, 730 yards and seven touchdowns. In his first game for TCU, against North Carolina, he caught nine passes for 136 yards and a touchdown.
With Dwyer sidelined, Ed Small has taken on a prominent receiving role, while tight end Kari Ashley added production in the Arkansas State win. Their contributions have given quarterback Jaden Craig multiple targets during the opening games. TCU enters conference competition with a 2-1 record.
