Jadeveon Clowney has been ruled out of the Texans’ game against the Bengals after suffering a knee injury while preparing for Week 2. The defensive end did not practice during the week because of the injury.
The knee problem is Clowney’s third injury in three consecutive weeks. He had been dealing with ankle and hip issues before Houston’s 36-31 loss to the Bills last Sunday.
Without Clowney, Dominique Robinson and Sabastain Harash are expected to split rotational snaps at edge rusher behind Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter. Further details were not provided.
