Jakob Junis took the loss after allowing three hits and four earned runs in one-third of an inning. Robert Garcia and Robby Ahlstrom combined for two innings of relief, with Garcia striking out two batters and Ahlstrom walking two while striking out two.
For Seattle, Logan Gilbert earned the victory with a strong showing. He pitched seven innings, striking out 11 batters while allowing three hits and three earned runs. He issued two walks but kept the Rangers' offense in check for most of the contest.
