Aubrey, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott appointed three members to the Early Childhood Intervention Advisory Committee on July 22, a panel that advises the Texas Health and Human Services Commission on services for infants and toddlers with developmental needs or risks.
Sherri O’Daniel, Dana Dodgen and Celina Perez received appointments with terms ending in 2029 or 2031. Their professional backgrounds include disability services, early-intervention programming and regional education-service work.
The committee advises on administration, oversight and monitoring of the statewide early-intervention system. The governor’s announcement described the system as one delivered with families and in local communities.
