The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced that Alejandro Villegas, a 32-year-old from Fort Worth, is the Featured Fugitive for July 2026 on its list of Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders. This designation comes with an increased reward of $6,000 for information leading to his capture, valid throughout the month of July.

Villegas has been wanted since January 2026 due to a probation violation related to a previous conviction for sexual assault of a child. His criminal history includes an arrest in 2022 by the Grand Prairie Police Department following an incident involving a 16-year-old girl.

Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds, Villegas is known to have connections in Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas. The DPS urges anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

To qualify for the cash reward, individuals can provide tips through several channels: by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting a web tip via the DPS website, or using the Facebook tip submission link found under the “About” section of the DPS page.

Further details regarding Villegas's current status or potential sightings have not been disclosed. The community is encouraged to assist in the search for this fugitive.
