Baylor football has revealed its projected offensive starters following the second week of fall camp. As the team prepares for the upcoming season, the lineup is beginning to take shape.
DJ Lagway will serve as the starting quarterback, with coaches praising his performance since joining the squad. He has expressed confidence in the offensive system designed by Jake Spavital, which may enhance his skills for a competitive Big 12 season.
Dawson Pendergrass is expected to start as running back. After missing last season, he aims to make a significant impact, having previously recorded over 670 rushing yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons. The wide receiver positions are likely to feature Louis Brown IV and Dre'lon Miller, with Brown anticipated as the primary deep threat.
Gavin Freeman, a transfer from Oklahoma State, is projected to be the slot receiver. At tight end, Tony Livingston joins the team after two years at Florida, bringing experience as both a blocker and pass catcher.
The offensive line will include Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Koltin Sieracki at center, and Asher Hale at right guard, with the right tackle position still to be confirmed.
